Linen Fabric - Mixed Wattle in Slate and Turmeric

Meet Mixed Wattle in Slate and Turmeric – a design born from my daily bike rides to the studio! Picture this: pedaling along the Yarra River, surrounded by wattle trees showing off their fluffy golden and silver pompoms. How could I not turn those cheerful little balls of fluff into a pattern? Impossible to resist!

The Details:

• Meterage: Sold in 50 cm increments (want 1 m? Choose 2. Need 2 m? Choose 4, and so on)
• Fabric width: 150 cm
• Printed area: Approximately 132 cm
• Repeat size: 64.6 cm
• Weight: Mid-weight 245 gsm (8.6 oz) flax or oatmeal linen
• Shrinkage: Not pre-shrunk; allow 3-5% shrinkage
• Perfect for: Bags, cushions, table linens, creative projects, and lightweight upholstery

The Making: Every metre is lovingly hand screen printed in our Melbourne studio. Because we print by hand in small batches, please allow 7-14 days for delivery within Australia. The beauty of handmade? Each piece carries its own subtle character – no two are exactly alike.

Care Instructions: Treat it kindly: cold wash on gentle cycle or by hand with mild detergent. Skip the top-loader, harsh chemicals, and vigorous scrubbing. No soaking or tumble drying. A medium iron on the reverse side will smooth things out nicely.
